Still not getting it then Have you tried rebooting the phone?
Lastly how you done a battery pull (power off, pull battery for 10 min, replace and reboot)
- Go to Settings, Application manager
- Go to the "ALL" tab. The name of the app is "gallery".
- Locate the app and make sure it's not disabled. If Disabled, Click on the button "Enable"
- Icon is back.
